What is NLP
NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming. It is the practice of understanding how people organize their thinking, feeling, language and behaviour to produce the results they do. It is like learning the language of your own mind!

Neuro -As individuals we have established our own unique filtering system to process the enormous amount of data we absorb through our senses. Our first mental map of the world is created from internal images, sounds, internal sensations, tangible awareness, tastes and smells that form as result of the neurological filtering process. This is the first layer of our mental map.
Linguistic -The information being received from the outside world we want to give meaning to and so we assign language to these internal images, sounds, feelings, tastes and smells, which form our everyday conscious awareness. This is the second layer of our mental map.
Programming - Our behavioural response is then determined as a result of both mental maps.
